Current Opportunities
Lend a hand
Keep our residents stable and healthy by helping with basic tasks. Opportunities vary with need, but may include: moving furniture and rubbish for people living with disabilities, offering a ride to pick up a free food box, cleaning an apartment to make it more livable, and many other small tasks that make a big difference for the people who live in our housing.
Bring people together
Our buildings have strong communities that are made even stronger by activities and workshops. Host a game night, create a homework club, or teach a crafty skill to a small group. Or, if you like, tell us something different altogether that you are interested in and think will build community.
Make waves by design
In love with InDesign? Various departments can use a volunteer with a good eye for graphic design to develop print-ready ads, marketing templates, and outreach materials.
Spread the word
Are you a people person? Staff an information table at community outreach fairs and let people know about our free home repair service for seniors. This important work lets people in need know there are resources available to them in the community. Volunteers needed for selected dates throughout fall and winter.
Help a Neighbor in Need
Use your home repair skills to help our Community Builders Program provide free home repairs to senior and disabled homeowners throughout the city.
Flex your shutter finger
New events to photograph are happening all the time. This fall, our Community Builders have a host of workdays scheduled to perform safety repairs for disadvantaged seniors. The work is important, the moments are special, and we need you to help document it. Time commitment is approximately 2 hours per day on selected dates throughout the fall.
REACH honors and encourages diversity. We value volunteers who contribute to an organization which embraces a variety of people and perspectives. Thank you for connecting with your community through REACH!
