Upcoming Events and Volunteer Opportunities
We are now recruiting sponsors, crew, project leaders and other volunteers for REACH’s premier event, on Saturday, August 2nd. Join us as we repair homes and complete neighborhood improvement projects for senior and disabled homeowners throughout Portland.
We are working hard to make this a 100% community supported event, which means the number of people we serve depends on you! Contact us today to get involved. We need cash, trades and general labor skills, and materials for a variety of projects including: carpentry, painting, yard clean ups, basic home repair and more!
Check out the projects that are already coming in:
- Painting - Five homes in Lents need exterior paint. Donations needed: $5,000 & 15 painters per site.
- Home in Lents needs new windows, paint, safety aids, new bath floor and more! Donations needed: contractor services, plumbing, cash and windows.

Weekday Workdays
In addition to our three main volunteer events, we work on projects Monday - Friday throughout the year. We are always looking for people with home repair skills to donate their time and improve the quality of a neighbor’s life through our program. Volunteers range from professional tradespeople (plumbers, carpenters, electricians, etc.) to community members who are handy.
