“It’s a wonderful service. They come and take care of things for no charge. You don’t have to worry about it financially or their ability to do the job.” – Gail, Lents Resident. Paint & Repair-a-thon 2008
Work Done: Portland Development Commission, Craftwork Plumbing, Freeman Electric and Ankrom Moison painted her home, cleared her yard, installed safety aids and upgraded her plumbing and electrical.
Joe & Christine
“We would like to say thank you so much for such a wonderful job your REACH Community Builders Program has done for our home. We are very pleased and happy to be a part of the program. We feel much more secure in our home because of the work you have done. Thank you very much.” – Joe & Christine Pennington, Boise Residents. Wintering-In Workdays 2008
Work Done: Community volunteers joined Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc. to rebuild the Pennington’s back porch.
Carol & Laurie
”Since both of us are disabled, this [wheelchair ramp] is wonderful. There were no railings on the other ramp. I was so scared to walk down it” – Laurie Farrar, Lents Resident. Paint & Repair-a-thon 2008
Work Done: Community volunteers worked together to build a wheelchair ramp.
Marie

Work Done: Lease Crutcher Lewis and Northwest Painting Specialists painted her home and installed a storm door and a new air conditioning unit.
